Meet Dr. Thrower

Angelo P. Thrower, M.D. is a medical doctor specializing in Ethnic Skin Care-an expert in the field, who is widely recognized throughout the U.S. and the Caribbean.

Dr. Thrower is a pioneer in cultivating the awareness of differences in ethnic and European skin care. He has dedicated his career to helping African Americans, Hispanics, Asians, and other ethnic people acheive healthy and beautiful skin.

Dr. Thrower has been in practice since 1992. He is the team dermatologist for the NBA's Miami Heat and the former WNBA's Miami Sol. He graduated from the University of Miami School of Medicine and completed his post-graduate training at George Washington Medical Center in Washington, D.C.

In addition, Dr. Thrower is a member of the Professional Team Physician's Association; author of the book Black Skin Care for the Practicing Professional; and the co-author of Skin Care: How to Save Your Skin and Basic Care for Naturally Treated Hair.
